John R. Lea Middle School 
As I enter my second year as principal at John R. Lea Middle School, I am fortunate to lead a building that has such a dedicated staff, enthusiastic students, and supportive parents. I truly believe we can achieve greatness here at John R. Lea.
Our continued mission is to provide our students with the skills necessary to not just survive but to thrive in the 21st century. Once again, we will be using is the book entitled, "The Leader in Me" by Stephen Covey. This will provide some of the framework needed to instill Primary Greatness in our students. Primary Greatness is associated with integrity, work ethic, treatment of others, motives, initiative, character, contributions, talents, creativity, and discipline.
