Middle School Principal's Message
November 5, 2012
Greetings everyone!
We had a busy week at JRL last week! Charity Bulter spoke to the student body last Thursday about the importance of choosing to be a winner in life. She talked about three important things we need to each find in life: passion, perspective and purpose. Charity was a national and international fast pitch softball player. Millwood Lumber sponsored her presentation and we are very grateful for their generosity.
Our Veteran's Day celebration was amazing last Friday! The 8th grade students worked very hard on projects and performances. All the students learned so much as the 70 Veterans shared thier stories with the students. It was a very special day for everyone!
The dance on Friday night was very successful as well! Many thanks to the 8th grade parents that volunteered to help supervise the dance.
